Brasserie de la Taupe Brewer’s Desire

As its name suggests, Brewer’s Desire is the beer that master brewer Willem Van Herreweghen dreamed of brewing for so long, an extremely rare nectar... This 100% malt beer (pale malt and lightly roasted malt) is brewed with aged hops and is boiled for a long time. Different yeasts that have been isolated and cultivated in the Pajottenland region are added to the cold water tank. The famous, mysterious Brettanomyces do their work in the greatest secrecy. This unique brew then spends two years in oak barrels before being bottled, without filtration, to ensure secondary fermentation with the same yeasts. A single, precious was produced to be shared among demanding connoisseurs. This beer won a gold medal at the prestigious Brussels Beer Challenge 2017.
