Welcome to the Bourgogne des Flandres brewery/distillery, where our brewers’ passion meets our region’s history. It is in the heart of Bruges, along the canal, that our brewers have decided to revive a centuries-old tradition: genever. Distilled from our beer, let yourself be carried away by these pleasant distillates from the oldest distillery in Bruges!

Bourgogne des Flandres Genever

Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction

The brewers’ passion shares in the history of Bruges !

Having disappeared for half a century, our brewers decided to bring distillation back to the heart of the city of Bruges.

And it’s not surprising that they thought of gin’s ancestor, genever. This was first mentioned in the 13th century, in Bruges! And its first written recipe dates back to the 16th century, in Antwerp.

Our two genevers, Jonge and Hop, one of which pays homage to history and the other to brewers, are particularly fine and delicate. Feel free to come and step into the Bourgogne des Flandres brewery and explore our craft as well as our genever...

FEATURE: Shy Bird on BP&O
