The Mc Douglas Celtic Beers range offers true Scottish beers, impressive like the country, mysterious like its legends, generous like its inhabitants. The Mc Douglas range takes its name from a river in the ancient region of Linnius in Scotland, the site of numerous epic battles attributed to King Arthur during the 5th century AD.

Mc Douglas

Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction Introduction

Mc Douglas is able to tell its story in the heart of Scotland, on the very land where the most valiant of warriors fought to defend their ideals, in a distant past...

The River Dubglas, Douglas in ancient English, meaning “black water”, has been the scene of several major battles against a coalition of Saxons, Scots and Picts. From these clashes came the united England that we know today!

Legends, historical facts, everything is intertwined. One certainty remains: the Mc Douglas noble beers with a well-tempered character take their name from these events and the brave and valiant warriors who gave everything, including their own lives, for an ideal of grandeur and a modern vision of the concept of nation!

Admittedly, today, the notion of chivalry is no longer to today’s tastes, but the joyous groups who storm the bar cannot deny that they possess the courage and good humour of these men who, upon a victorious return, rushed to savour the joys of warrior’s rest.

Let’s raise our glass to honour them!

FEATURE: Shy Bird on BP&O
