John Martin, having boldly ventured across the English Channel, asked the brewery to create a unique Guinness cuvée for the Belgian market, called Guinness Special Export. This 8% Alc. Vol. stout is best enjoyed with the knowing smile of the explorer who has just discovered black gold. Equal parts dark and creamy, this stout reveals a special kind of fierceness, which was already recognised many centuries ago by a Roman emperor: “Of all the peoples of Gaul, the Belgians are the bravest”.
