Timmermans Oude Gueuze
All good Gueuze relies on one ingredient only: lambic. Its specificity: wild yeasts that trigger spontaneous fermentation resulting in very particular aromas. These lambics are then aged in oak barrels for 1 to 3 years, imparting different aromas but especially different levels of acidity. Voted “Best Gueuze in the World”, this beer is a blend of old lambic, which has been aged for three years in oak barrels, and young lambic, which ensures spontaneous refermentation in the bottle. This magnificent Oude Gueuze is unique, and popular with even the greatest connoisseurs. “Oude Gueuze” is a registered and protected designation. It can keep for up to 20 years.
