First impression “like a Bourdaloue tart”: pear, almond, soft caramel; followed by a hint of lemon meringue, accompanied by grapes. Adding water brings out some blueberries, and a mix of dried flowers and light blond tobacco leaves, very gentle.

Taste and mouthfeel

Barley sugar and delicate caramel give way to the aromas of a “Breughel-style” apple pie (baked apples, golden raisins, caramelised almonds); then comes a subtle note of apricot and lemony light brown sugar. Adding water reveals a hint of clove and dulcey chocolate over crème brûlée.

Finish and overall impression

Mirabelle crumble and barley sugar, with notes of vanilla and wood. The empty glass evokes very soft leather, with woody traces and the return of caramelised pears.
