Traditional monastic blond beer. The colour is a luminous Naples yellow. Pours a lively glass of beer, thick with creamy foam. A discreet, spring floral nose with notes of vanilla and malt, with a pleasantly hopped fresh finish. Very nice attack, a nice, full-bodied, well-balanced brew. The pleasantly fluffy mouthfeel of this brew then gives way to the bitterness of the hops, which add complexity. Very rich, fresh and harmonious taste in the mouth, with hints of ripe pears and notes of papaya. A beautifully-balanced beer with a discreet, sophisticated bitter finish.
